Ristorante Pappagallo has been serving diners in Cayman for many years from it's unique establishment in West Bay. From the moment you step onto the wooden bridge leading to Pappagallo's entrance, you are transported into another world.
Surrounded by dense vegetation and the rural sights and sounds of Grand Cayman's countryside, Ristorante Pappagallo looks and feels like an upscale tropical outpost from an earlier era, its sturdy wooden structure supporting two huge thatch roofs and large beautifully-woven fans. Arriving after dark, you’ll see the restaurant's lights which reflect in the lagoon teeming with silvery tarpon and emanate a warm golden glow.
Like many an Italian restaurant, there’s a strong sense of family associated with Ristorante Pappagallo. Many of the loyal and experienced staff have served at the restaurant for years and Chef Alex Menegon is passionate about food - freshness and simplicity are the bedrock of his style. Regional Italian dishes, fresh pasta and handcrafted desserts feature prominently in their seasonally updated menu. Paired with their wine list featuring over 400 wines, aficionados from around the world and locals in the know return to Ristorante Pappagallo, year after year.
